The annual U.S. Marines Toys for Tots Drive is celebrating its 10th year in partnership with the Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County. Starting November 1, members of the community can drop off new, unwrapped toys at over 30 collection points from retail shops and local businesses to country clubs.

Additionally, dockside donation pickups will be made by full uniformed Marines and volunteers on a designated “toy fleet” of boats. They will stop at marinas and boat docks for all those hosting private viewing parties along the parade route the evening of the event. Simply wave a flashlight when you see the red and yellow towboats passing by, and a volunteer captain will stop and pick up donations right from your dock.

The mission of the program is to collect and distribute toys during the holidays as gifts to needy children in our community, delivering a message of hope to underprivileged youngsters that will motivate them to grow into responsible, productive, and patriotic citizens and leaders of the future. The development of our children is one of our nation’s most valuable natural resources, and the ultimate success of the Holiday Boat Parade is shown by the support of the local community and the generosity of the people who donate toys.
